Statement

  Brian first discovered printmaking as an art major at the University of Minnesota – Duluth in 1971-3.  After returning to college in 1982, in Bozeman, Montana, he still felt the call of printmaking. He graduated with honors in 1986, with a BA in Art with a printmaking option. In 2012, after twenty-five years working in manufacturing and raising a family, he returned to printmaking once again and is making printing his full time vocation. He currently lives and works in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.  His subject matter is representational and reflects the wilderness areas that he loves in Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, and Northern Minnesota.
